Celebrating everyday isn’t just about those tasty, silly, fun celebrations that unite us as a community, but also about celebrating time with family and friends.  Today I bring to you just one of those ways to bring a little bit of laughter and excitement to your day!

Egg Carnage

Egg Carnage

After all the plastic eggs and baskets from our Easter celebrating have been found and perhaps consumed, around here we like to sit down around the kitchen table and help get those beautiful hard boiled eggs peeled and ready for an egg salad super!

The goal is to get all the eggs spinning like tops, colorfully whirling across the tabletop and crashing into one another!  It’s insane and hilarious and will probably drive your dog crazy!  In fact, might be best to put the dog away unless you are ok with him gobbling up one or two (or more)!  It’s great to have a bunch of people because then you can try to keep most of them from hitting the floor.  After you end up with all fallen-soldiers, you can peel them the rest of the way (full of endorphins from all the giggling and craziness!)

This is an Easter tradition in our house, but June 3rd is another day to celebrate with this crazy game, as it’s National Egg Day!

Hi, so glad you are here!

Every day has a celebration! Some days celebrate a certain food, idea, or activity. Sometimes a day is set aside to remember or to increase awareness of a need. Each and every day should be celebrated by spending time with family and friends enjoying whatever time we are given.
