Taffy Day

Taffy is made by stretching or pulling a sticky mass of boiled sugar, butter or vegetable oil, flavorings, and coloring until it becomes aerated. When those tiny air bubbles are produced a light, fluffy, chewy candy results. The candy is then rolled cut and wrapped in wax paper. Fruity flavors are typical but many other flavors can be found.
