Purple Pizza Dough Made with Beets

In the movie Inside Out, Fear keeps Riley from potential dangers and disasters.  Don’t let your fear of beets scare you off from the awesomeness that is this purple pizza crust!

Get the whole gang involved.  If your helpers are little, get all the ingredients out and prepped to go on the pizzas just before inviting them to help.IMG_9144

The beets don’t add too much of a different flavor, but they make it a fun color naturally and they do have added nutritional benefits!  (Remember – Eat the rainbow?)IMG_9195

This would be a fun pre-movie activity for your Inside Out viewing party.IMG_9206

Just pop the pizzas in the oven, get the movie queued-up, and enjoy!

IMG_9210Just add two large peeled, roasted, pureed beets to your favorite pizza crust recipe!

Hi, so glad you are here!

Every day has a celebration! Some days celebrate a certain food, idea, or activity. Sometimes a day is set aside to remember or to increase awareness of a need. Each and every day should be celebrated by spending time with family and friends enjoying whatever time we are given.
