January 5 – Bird Day

January 5th is National Bird Day.  Over the weekend we played a game where the players had to bid how many of something they could name.  In this game we took turns bidding as high as we could (or bluffed our way there) without getting ourselves up too high!  Think “Name That Tune.”  My brother-in-law rocked the category of birds by easily naming 30 different species.  How many species can you name?

Perhaps you would like to join me in feeding the birds in your neighborhood today?

Check out my pinterest page for some ideas on how you can feed some birds in your area.

Hi, so glad you are here!

Every day has a celebration! Some days celebrate a certain food, idea, or activity. Sometimes a day is set aside to remember or to increase awareness of a need. Each and every day should be celebrated by spending time with family and friends enjoying whatever time we are given.
