National Chocolate Parfait Day

Chocolate Parfait

How do you parfait?  May 1, you can parfait in many ways!  Parfait in French means ‘perfect.’  So having a parfait for breakfast with a tasty chocolate granola layered with vanilla yogurt would be a literally be a perfect way to start your day.  The American chocolate parfait is typically layered with chocolate pudding or mousse, sometimes with bits of cookies, cake, brownies, or even lady fingers.

Go ahead and use today as an excuse for having a frozen french version to end your day as well.  That way you can have a perfect day (at least the beginning and end of it!)

Hi, so glad you are here!

Every day has a celebration! Some days celebrate a certain food, idea, or activity. Sometimes a day is set aside to remember or to increase awareness of a need. Each and every day should be celebrated by spending time with family and friends enjoying whatever time we are given.
