Game time is a favorite time in our family. It feels like a great way to gather together, take a break from life and bond. Oh, and of course snack! We are big fans of this lesser known game that always comes out at family gatherings with my husband’s family, Mu.
It comes as Mu and Lots More from Amazon (or your local game retailer.)
We haven’t branched out into the ‘and lots more’ portion of it yet because Mu is so fun itself.
I will admit that it is a bit tricky to figure out on your first go of it, but it is worth sticking it out and learning it. Besides you may forge some new brain pathways. It’s good for you!
If your family isn’t all to the age where you can enjoy this one together, you can’t go wrong with a deck of playing cards and some Crazy 8s, King’s Corners, Go Fish, or even Solitaire. And if you are eager to get a jump on the upcoming Unofficial International Bacon Day, then you might want to check these out:
Yes, fully cooked even!
According to some, Bacon Day is celebrated in Ireland in 2014 on December 30th. The US celebrates the Saturday before our Labor Day. So by then US residents should be pretty skillet at Canasta! See what I did there?
What is your favorite card game?
James says
Mu is especially fun because it appeals to the aggressive and tentative players, alike. I also enjoy all the ways that you can get into someone else’s head in many ways.

You can’t ever forget Sheepshead! It’s pretty popular with my Mom’s side of the family!
