Caramelly, buttery, warm, spiced….what? Oh, I had you at caramel? This dessert is basically hot buttered rum over lightly cooked apples. It is simple and oh so decadent. Comes together in 15 minutes.
All you need to do is peel and slice your apples, toss some butter in a saucepan, with some brown sugar and nutmeg until dissolved.
Then add your apple slices and let them cook away, giving a stir every once and a while. Add a pinch of salt and some rum…
Delicious is served!
