National Go Barefoot Day

Little bare feet

June 1 is National Go Barefoot Day, and is a great day to think about your place in this world.  Celebrate by going barefoot, getting a pedicure, connecting with our beautiful world, and counting little piggies, but more important than that, remember others for whom going barefoot is not a choice.  Consider cleaning out the closet, finding shoes that no longer get used by your family and donating them to a place such as Soles4Souls.  We think you will be glad you did! You can learn more about what Soles4Souls does at their website: https://soles4souls.org/

Have fun celebrating National Go Barefoot Day!  Please share how you celebrated in the comments below!

Hi, so glad you are here!

Every day has a celebration! Some days celebrate a certain food, idea, or activity. Sometimes a day is set aside to remember or to increase awareness of a need. Each and every day should be celebrated by spending time with family and friends enjoying whatever time we are given.
