Prospector’s Gold Nugget Chicken

Prospector's Gold Nugget Chicken

Prospector’s Gold Nugget Chicken

This holiday celebrates a piece of American history.  Today is the anniversary of that day in 1848 when James Marshall, foreman of the lumber mill being built for John Sutter, found a shiny metal in the ground near the meeting of the American and Sacramento rivers in Northern California.  The men tried to keep it quiet but word quickly spread of ‘gold in them thar hills.’

For tonight’s celebration, by cracky, we’re fixin’ to have this here coconut ‘varmint’ chicken made with nugget sized chicken bites,  gold nugget corn and some Yukon Gold mashed taters.

We’re going to pop in Toy Story 2 – it’s the one with the Stinky Pete the Prospector.

Well, don’t just sit there cunfounded like a consarn bushwakin sidewinder, by cracky, git your party on!
